Pricing Guide

How much does 3D printing cost in India?

Short answer: most small parts land between ₹150 and ₹500, and the price depends almost entirely on how much material your part uses. This guide explains exactly how 3D printing is priced, what makes one model cost more than another, and how to bring the price down — no jargon. Want a real number for your file? The short version

from ₹150

Minimum order. Small items like keychains and trinkets start here.

by weight

You pay for the grams of material your part actually uses — not per hour, not per file.

no setup fee

No slicing or handling charges. Delivery is shown as its own line.

How the price is calculated

3D printing is priced by how much material your part uses — so your price comes down to two things: the amount of material (driven by the part's size and infill) and the material you choose. We show you the exact number before you pay.

More material + your chosen material your price

There's a ₹150 minimum order, and delivery is shown as its own separate line. No setup fee, no slicing fee, nothing hidden — the price you see is the price you pay.

Upload a model and you get a firm quote up front. That price is locked in when you order, so it never drifts between quote and checkout.

What actually changes the price

Size (scale)

Bigger = more grams = more cost, and it grows fast: doubling a model's height can roughly its volume. If exact size isn't critical, scaling down is the single biggest lever.

Infill density

Most prints are hollow inside with a lattice. 15–20% infill is plenty for décor and light-duty parts. Cranking it to 100% can multiply the cost for strength you probably don't need.

Material

PLA is the most affordable. PETG and ABS cost a bit more; Nylon, TPU and resin are pricier. Pick by what the part must do — see the materials guide.

Support material

Steep overhangs need temporary scaffolding that's printed then thrown away — but you still pay for that plastic. Good orientation (and design) cuts it. Our STL checker flags it.

Quantity

Need ten of something? The quote scales with total weight across all copies. For bulk or production runs, ask us for a custom quote.

Delivery

Delivery in Bengaluru is same-day where available, priced by distance and shown separately — never hidden inside the part price. You see it before you pay.

Example prices

Illustrative ranges for common items in PLA at sensible settings, to give you a feel. Your exact price depends on the actual model, material and infill — the instant quote is always the real number. Delivery is extra.

What you're printing Typical size Rough price (PLA)
Keychain / small trinket5–15 gfrom ₹150
Phone stand / desk organiser20–60 g₹150–₹400
Tabletop miniature (resin)small, detailed₹150–₹500
Functional bracket / part (PETG)30–120 g₹250–₹900
Vase / medium décor piece80–250 g₹400–₹1,200
Large cosplay prop / helmet (multi-part)500 g+₹2,500–₹8,000+

Ranges are estimates for comparison only and vary with size, material, infill and support. Engineering materials (Nylon, TPU) and resin cost more than PLA.

5 easy ways to lower your cost

  1. 1

Scale down if you can. Size drives weight more than anything. A 20% smaller model often prints for roughly half the cost.

  2. 2

Use sensible infill. 15–20% is strong enough for most décor and light-duty parts. Save 100% for parts under real mechanical load.

  3. 3

Pick the right material. Don't pay for Nylon or resin if PLA does the job. Compare materials →

  4. 4

Reduce support. Models with fewer steep overhangs use less throwaway support plastic. Check your STL →

  5. 5

Try settings live. The instant quote updates as you change scale, material and infill — so you can dial in the price before ordering.
