Every quote on 3Dash is produced by an open-source slicing engine. The engines we run, and the licences they are used under, are credited below.
Slicing Engines
Quotes are produced by running these slicers as separate processes against your own printer profile. We make no changes to them — we do not patch their code, link it into ours, or alter their output. Each is licensed under the GNU AGPL-3.0; the exact build of each one is named and linked below, and its complete corresponding source is available from the project it links to.
PrusaSlicer 2.9.6
by Prusa Research. Slices PrusaSlicer-family profiles.
Source: github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer. Prusa Research publishes no official Linux build after 2.8.1, so the Linux binary we run is a community build of that same version, packaged from upstream source by gneiss15/PrusaSlicer.AppImage, where its build recipe is published. We neither built nor altered it.
Bambu Studio 02.07.01.62
by Bambu Lab. Slices Bambu Studio profiles.
Source: github.com/bambulab/BambuStudio. Bambu Studio is itself a derivative of PrusaSlicer and Slic3r.
OrcaSlicer 2.4.2
Slices OrcaSlicer profiles and the vendor slicers derived from it, including Creality Print, Anycubic, Qidi Studio and Flashforge.
Source: github.com/OrcaSlicer/OrcaSlicer. OrcaSlicer is a derivative of Bambu Studio, and through it of PrusaSlicer and Slic3r.
